so the basics are:
- we want to ad new content to YTP about three times a week, videos of course, but always do some keyword heavy writing, find ways to soft sell, entice, but always have something interesting to say about the video, add harmless links of interest, and have the occasional article about aspects of online poker.
- start reading up on SEO for Poker Affs. Check out that side regularly along with PAL (or whatever it's called now)
- research how to find the most popular poker related searches on Google and on YouTube. Use the results in writing entries and in choosing which blogs to set up next. Durrrr is very likely the best. Matusow and Hellmuth seem like good ones, altho would Ivey be better. For the moment videos will be the primary focus, but as Rich has noted several times it's always best to have keyword heavy writing in there.
- in utilizing YouTube channels we've always been thinking about clever name use. It might be more better to have specific names with content that you've borrowed. Have a DurrVideo channel, maybe that simple is best, and then download and upload vids you've found with excellent tags
- as noted many times before the primary focus of my sites ought to be entertainment, drawing an audience with cool stuff, adding how-to articles, harmless links to how-to info and general cool stuff. In line with the "cool stuff" bit let's always be looking for cool vids and links to share with the poker crowd - no politics of course, but movies, maybe online gaming, and of course, videos.
- don't have to do a major reset of the YTP sidebar, but just think how you might like to see it, what you would like to see if you found the blog, what would be cool, enticing, fun, what would make you want to come back to the site.
- make a list of sites where you can pick up cool stuff: cool vids from the main page of YT, Bob what's his name's blog has some times, AICN, and keep adding new ones.
